I use a number of gimmicked Sharpies for various effects. However, they actually are used to mark items and eventually they won't work (dry out, run out of ink).
Is there a way to re-ink the Sharpies so that they work again? |

Buy a new sharpie, open the end, pull the cartridge (which is not actually a cartridge, but you get the idea...) and switch them. easy to do.

If this actually works it could help me with a Kenton Knepper effect I have... tell us if you have actually tried refilling one HMAC.
Thanks, Sam

I have actually refilled many Sharpie Markers! I promise it works great, in fact, I just did it yesterday!
I gently push the black part up and down to loosen it up and then it snaps out just like the cap snaps on! you can remove the ink tube, and put in a new one from a different marker! After 15 minutes it is usually re-inked and ready to go! Let me know how it goes, I promise it works! |

I'd practice on two regular sharpies before trying on a gimmicked one though!
