I heard so much about your Non-sleeveless toss....remember I am chatting with Jay Mattioli backstage & he told me about your act," John's tossed the bird but he has NO sleeve..."

Think I also heard from Dan that the dove eyes when flyback has a glowing LED lights on it...wow how I wish you can include that in your promo

After watching the fire to bird at the opening & the red apple on the knife to red bird toss, I was indeed VERY VERY impressed! The technique is different from Greg frewin

Think it will be great if you can released a Dove Magic DVD teach in on your Dove technique, esp. the Non Sleeve Toss...it will be a valuable tools to doveworker like us, just like your The Bubbler

NIce to finally get to see you work with my Dove Cage Production I made for you years ago. You had the second one in this county after Rick Thomas's original.

How are you handling the fire issues in venue now days? It is pretty rough around here to do anything at all with fire.

I do enjoy using the cage. I think I bought it in year 2000 & have been using it regularly since then. I do remember you telling me that I had the first one after Rick Thomas. That's cool. The fire is getting tougher all the time. I think I'll have to go back to the strobes soon. I will check the condition of the strobes. It's been so long since I've checked them. If I need new ones can I get them from you, Richard? Thanks, and take care.

Yes, I can re fit them but I will need the cage. If you fire them off a couple of times, it will usually reform the capacitors in them.

Please reread what John has to say about using fire....It is fast becoming a thing of the past.

Yes, the fire is getting impossible. I recently did a show where not even a match was allowed, not even for a second. It was a high end banquet, the tables were nicely decorated with candles with realistic looking, but fake flame. The agent told me that even the table-cloths and confetti had to be flame proof for the event. After 3 gigs in one month said, "No Fire", I am now currently trying to revamp my act to work without the fire.

Thanks very much for your compliments on my dove work. I have worked very hard on it. As you know I do perform sleeve-less dove tosses. I created 4 or 5 different versions in 1993 or 94. And yes, they all differ from Greg Frewins. I competed with them in both SAM & IBM in year 2000, making it to the finals in both contests. Also a first place in TAOM in 1998, and a few first place awards in a few other contests using this technique. I have thought about releasing it, but if I did, it would have to be in the future.
Yes I do perform a sequence where the doves eyes glow red. It too is in my competition act.
As you probably know I did release the "Bubbler" from that act too.
