Ken Simmons has some great routines on VHS, but I'm not sure where to pick them up, actually I haven't looked Smile

Morten, I mentioned elsewhere a routine using this gimmick with an Okito box - might be great for you! It uses a story about Houdini [a copper coin I recall] escaping from the box.

I can't remember the name of the routine or the magician... here's hoping someone else will!

This doesn't answer your question, but if you contact MagicOfUriel here on the Café, ask him about his scotch and soda routine Smile

Go to youtube and write Houdini coin magic and that should get you in the right direction.
Just try that’s all you can do , never give up .

I personally do a routine with flash paper. I learned it from a friend of mine. Take the two coins wrap them in flash, set them on the table, and ignite. With only one coin left, I then go on to say ask them if they know what the coin shaped piece of paper is laying on the table. I tell them it is a reciept, using a coin clip and finger palm, I ignite the piece flash paper and produce the final coin. Hope you enjoy!!!

There's a scotch & soda accessory trick called "Breakout" that uses the story of Houdini escaping from a cell. The trick is a heavy brass bang ring with a brass lid. Houdini is the copper coin placed inside... the half dollar works as the top lid or cell door.
Tell the story, and make Houdini disappear - can hand everything out.
Very simple and all ages seem to love it.
I believe you can purchase it for $15 to $20

My version isn't available for sale.

All you need is a Scotch-n-Soda coin set, a brass bang ring, and the bottom of an Okito box, and an extra half dollar.
