Ken Simmons has some great routines on VHS, but I'm not sure where to pick them up, actually I haven't looked

Morten, I mentioned elsewhere a routine using this gimmick with an Okito box - might be great for you! It uses a story about Houdini [a copper coin I recall] escaping from the box.
I can't remember the name of the routine or the magician... here's hoping someone else will! |

This doesn't answer your question, but if you contact MagicOfUriel here on the Café, ask him about his scotch and soda routine

I personally do a routine with flash paper. I learned it from a friend of mine. Take the two coins wrap them in flash, set them on the table, and ignite. With only one coin left, I then go on to say ask them if they know what the coin shaped piece of paper is laying on the table. I tell them it is a reciept, using a coin clip and finger palm, I ignite the piece flash paper and produce the final coin. Hope you enjoy!!!

There's a scotch & soda accessory trick called "Breakout" that uses the story of Houdini escaping from a cell. The trick is a heavy brass bang ring with a brass lid. Houdini is the copper coin placed inside... the half dollar works as the top lid or cell door.
Tell the story, and make Houdini disappear - can hand everything out. Very simple and all ages seem to love it. I believe you can purchase it for $15 to $20 |

My version isn't available for sale.
All you need is a Scotch-n-Soda coin set, a brass bang ring, and the bottom of an Okito box, and an extra half dollar. Greg Rostami |
