I did a search first for Chrome Jumbo Coin with Shell and found that Hocus Pocus and Magic Smith was mentioned.

But when I click over to Magic Smith this item is no longer sold and Hocus Pocus has it under wish list.

May I know where else can I buy them?

Thanks

You can only get a kennedy jumbo with a shell not a morgan with a shell.

Find your coins and then contact Jamie Schoolcraft to see if he can custom make you a shell.

All the ones I have seen in person are pretty sloppy. Not sure what you intend to use it for, but just be aware that it's not as slick of a setup as the standard coins. It can be very angle sensitive, since the shell doesn't come close to covering the whole solid coin, from the ones I have seen.

I'd say it's very much a parlor or stagish type trick with the quality I have seen. I'd hate to see you spend a lot of cash on a set, thinking it would work in close up, when it might not do what you want.

Just thought I would throw that out there for info.

Someone may have some really nice ones out there, but I haven't seen them.

Oh! This is an important piece of news there for me. Thanks, Magicpitch.

Where can I purchase a set (shell with coin) that is great in quality?

Magicpitch, where did you buy yours that you are disappointed in? That way I won't buy it from the same source.

If it is not convenient to reveal in public, please PM me, really appreciate it.

James, I haven't bought any of them, I have only seen them and handled them myself. I have no idea who made any of the ones I saw, as they were taken from behind the counter as a demo set each time, and not taken out of a package to be shown to me, so I never saw who made them.

The sets I have seen would never fly in a close up environment. The shells were all way too shallow, so the solid coin didn't even come close to being hidden.

Best of luck finding them, but just be careful so your money is not wasted, that's all I'm saying.

Piet Fortin (probably wrong spelling) had some nice ones for sale, at a reasonable price.
