I have been seeing commercials for a new 13 part show all about pitchmen. This looks like it will be more on the world of infomercials but it should be interesting. It starts on April 15, 2009 on the Discovery channel.

I watched it back tonightas well. Having shot WAY too many reality shows, I have to remember it's less about showing you reality and more about creating or manufacturing conflict and drama. The show is a good chance to see the inside of infomercials and might end up being a good study of sales psychology, but not exactly the "true" pitch as we know it.

I'm not sure if anyone is watching the show but its not bad. The past two shows they have talked with "working" pitchmen and have talked about thier pasts in the real pitch world. It's worth checking out if you have not seen it yet.
