Ya got me on the cigar Jay, but the houlette with the ribbon is an older version of the Hathaway Rising Cards. Here's a modern rendition:

Is the first item a flash pot of sorts, or perhaps a pan that holds collapsing flowers? The third item is obviously some kind of card rise houlette, though I can't name the maker.

That could be another version of a rising cards, a spin off of the Davenport method. The cards to rise are housed in the rear compartment of the back door, usually a watchwork mechanism is inside the base which pulls the string to make the cards rise.
