Can anyone tell me what works best to stick balloons to walls? Obviously I am looking for something that does not damage the wall.
I am doing a 70s theme event and they want peace signs and flower power balloons for decorations.
Thanks.

Hey can anyone help with this? I have never decorated before with balloons, just need to know what will work best in sticking to walls and surfaces. Thanks.

Weren't peace signs and flower power more mid to late 60's. When I think of the 70's, sadly, I think of disco. Unfortunately, I lived through that era.

I would just use double sided tape. If you're really worried about paint on the wall you could try playing around with that poster tack... the blue sticky stuff you can buy at Walmart.

What about thos "sticky hangers?" The ones you hang on the back of a door to hang coats and jackets. Mine have never stripped anything off of the wall. that's what theyre made for. A little costly but I guess it depends on your budget for the event. $.02. :

I wouldn't use thumb tacks. Smile

If the facility has a drop ceiling I'd use Clik-Clik Magnets.

You can see them here.

And All American Balloons is a good place to buy them.

Just hang the items near the wall. Also, you could easily hang some balloons around the room away from the walls.
