Hey everyone! I just wanted to make a post to show off my new logo as well as plug my good friend who designed it for me.

How affordable is he?

They looks too good to be cheap.

All depends what you consider "affordable". I sent you a PM with specifics.

I think the amount he charges is well worth the final product, especially considering how long that logo can "work" for you.

As a professional designer myself, I just have to chime in. People, you get what you pay for. this is not meant to be mean,. but designers like his friend and like myself spent countless hours and degrees in school to do what we do.

Yes, you may spend some money, but you have to look at it form the perspective that this is your branding. this is often times the first thing a prospect ever sees of you. if this is the case, it can make or break the sale. It is the extension of the brand and should be used on all your marketing for years to come.

So when viewing design work or designers, do not always view or think cheap. ust an FYI. =)

I gotta say, given my experience as a professional cartoonist and commercial artist for over 30 years...
this guy is TOP NOTCH!
I mean full on Disney/Pixar quality!
This is the work of a true professional.
Sometimes cost is not the first priority when it comes to representation of you and your business.

Chance, he's a professionally trained animator as well so if you're serious about the Surf Sharks thing then he's right up your alley.

Is the cartoon a caricature of you?

I'd love to see a photo of you in costume to see how the illustration compares.

Also, what's your web site's address?

The photo is a caricature of myself. I hadn't had the costume figured out at the time of the commission so I gave him some references and colours and then he worked from there. I've put together my final costume based off what's in the logo.
