Has anyone read "The Art of Gospel Magic" who can tell me if it is a useful to to someone just starting out doing church shows?

It is excellent, IMHO the best work on the subject.
It is also out of print and when the copies are gone there will be no more. Buy it yesterday...... |

This is the best book on Gospel Magic. It is now out of print and very hard to find. About 2-weeks ago I did find a used copy for sale on Amazon.com for approx. $100.00. If you have any questions please PM me and I will try and help. I wanted a copy of this book and was fortunate enough to do a search and find the book for sale in another state. Once I found the copy I needed I did not search any further. I hope this helps, do a search for the book on google and yahoo and see what you can come up with. Remember to check with Amazon.com as well.

If you can find it for a fair price ($100 is outrageous), buy it. It's a great book.

Often, the prices you find for used books on Amazon are, indeed, outrageous.
My ex-cat was named "Muffin". "Vomit" would be a better name for her. AKA "The Evil Ball of Fur".

Duane Laflin is the author of this book, and MANY dvd's and books on the subject of Gospel Magic. Anything he has written is excellent. The Art of Gospel Magic is outstanding...
