Recently I accuried a copy of Mind Blowing Psychic Readings by Herb Dewey. A rather interesting book of scripts for a wide range of ages, gender, and sex. I am enjoing reading this book, and am wondering if someone could list for me Herb's other books?

As I am on the subject of this book, I think this book and Ian's book are great tools for learing cold reading or tarot or what have you. I like the scripts in Herbs book, but think, I may have to break them down into smaller more useable forms. Has anyone ever done this and if so, how did you like it?

Anyway, enjoying the book, now if I can just locate his other books.

Herb's other works include "psycho-babble" & "Red hot cold reading", co-written with with Thomas Saville. Also, Bascom Jones wrote of Herb's methods in his book, "King of the cold readers".

King Of The Cold Readers is by both persons{Jones and Dewey}.
Personaly i think that Mind Blowing Psychic Readings isn't as good as the other books.
It's too general to my taste.
I got more insight from Passages
by Gail Sheehy and her other books and i suggest you should read them.

I concur. The other Dewey books are better. These books, and Ford Kross' books pretty much cover it all. Some of the Webster books are are excellent, notably Psychometry from A to Z.

Ford would have mentionned his own books, but he is far too modest to do so.

His book are not so much about lines, so amateurs might be dissapointed.

I found a ton, literally 2000 pounds of valuable info, in King of the Cold Readers. If it's still available you'll also find good info to get you started in Philemon Vanderbeck's OORT. (Just don't ask him what OORT stands for!)

I believe that OORT is availible at
hocus-pocus.com

Look in the mentalism section.
Unless, of course, Philemon still has some.

Thanks for the plugs!

If you can't get a copy of OORT from your local magic dealer, then you can order it directly from me.

Visit the OORT website at:
http://www.elementalent.com/oort.htm
for instructions on how to order.

Thanks!
