I have placed a first version of John Northern Hilliard's Greater Magic Index listing inventors of effects on line on my site in the Project Inventor's section. This is just the first stage. It is a monumental work of over 1000 pages and now I need to go back and check and re-check the inventors to make sure I haven't messed anything up. If you notice ommissions, don't tell me just yet- I may find them on my own. However, if you notice downright errors, misplaced names, spelling errors and so on, I'd like to know about them.

The final phase will be to link as many of those inventor's names with their brief biographies elsewhere on my site. It should all be complete in about a month, but in the meantime, you have a valuable resource to use for research.

Spellbinder,
I am totally impressed with the monumental work you did. It is fantastic and I am afraid if I start reading it I will not be able to stop.
One quick question, I attempted to login to your "Nook" and it kept telling me improper password or username, what am I doing wrong ?

There is no password needed to log in to The Magic Nook to view the Greater Magic index http://www.magicnook.com

Once there, the link to "Project: Magic Inventors" is in plain sight on the home page, so I don't know why you are being asked for a password or username.

A registration and a password is required if you join The Magic Nook Forum, but the Greater Magic index is not in the Forum... that's something entirely different and optional... mostly for magicians who want to chew me out about something.

#1. For the Magic Nook Forum, you do need to register, at which time you will choose a username and a password for yourself, just like you did when you joined the Magic Café Forum. Once you have registered, you will then be able to log in and have your computer save the log in informatuon so you don't need to go through the password thing every time.

#2. I am from East Orange, NJ.

You did and you're welcome...again!

A smiley thingee goes here.

I've been warned not to put URLs to my site in my messages, so I'll just point out to anyone who doesn't know Marshall Thornside's papa or what she is talking about, you'll see his Inventor's Biography and photo on my site (see my signature) in the Brief Biographies section - DeYip Loo. I hope that passes the censors.
