Ricky, it would help if you told us where you were located. Many breeders will not ship and some areas don't have breeders. As a basic rule of thumb, most people sell their doves for $20-$30 a piece. Some times you can find a magician to sell them to you for $10 which is usually what I charge and in any case, you would of course also be responsible for shipping costs which is usually another $25 or so.

California is a big place but here's link to dove breeders there. These are mainly the release for wedding type birds but they should be able to help you find a regular breeder

Here's another breeder you could contact

Here's a link to a few breeders in Idaho. I'm not sure if they are close to you or not but you contact them. They may be able to steer you in the right direction

Durgy, try this site. It lists many breeders in the area. You might be able to contact one of them for help.

Dave, you are better than directory assistance! Good contact info Smile
Wonder is very necessary in life. When we're little kids, we're filled with wonder for the world - it's fascinating and miraculous. A lot of people lose that. They become cynical and jaded, especially in modern day society. Magic renews that wonder.

Magic_man, getting the meal worms isn't Autumn's problem. It's the actual handling them that's slow her down.

Autumn, yeah I was thinking of getting my own contact number. Let's see thare's 911 for emergency assistance, 411 for directory assistance. What could we use for dove breeder assistance?

1-800-dove breeder assistance. In the fine print it would probably say something like 5 dollars a minute like the rest of em. Autumn, just close your eyes. LOL.

Those things are pretty weird when they wignle and woggle all over.

Ricky, did you contact any of the people on those links. It's rare to find an actual list of dove breeders but those people should some ideas to help you. MR b breeds doves and dovesusa does nothing but doves.
