Allright folks I know someone out there can help me. I need a holdout. I don't have 1800 bucks otherwise I would gladly lease the FK system. Does anybody out there have a holdout they are willing to part with? I will pay of course, and negotiate prices in pm and through e-mail. Oh and a pneumatic holdout is a plus in my opinion, but I need something for cards. I've asked around about trabucco and Antonio Romero and I don't think they are what I want. I need a holdout that is for cards. Thanks for the help guys and gals.

FK is a gravity holdout and not what you want...

You want a Kepplinger type, check out J. Riser to see if he has any around or would know.

Check out Antique Gambling supplies, there will be some holdouts there.

Do you have the web address for Antique Gambling supplies? I did a search but didn't find a site by that name. Thanks!

I just mean antique gambling supplies in general...

Go on ebay, goto casino items and then type in "Holdout".

Right now there are 4 holdouts from $160-$600 that are availible.

All are the type used for cards at a card table....

There are other auction sites and some stores that carry this sort of thing....

I have worked with the Romero system for some years and it works perfectly.
I have fooled a lot of magicians with it. A must buy.

What exactly do you want to do with a holdout? And have you ever used a gambler's holdout? I ask because most magician's are not aware of all the requirements for using a sleeve-holdout, for instance. You can't just put it on and go. It needs a specially tailored shirt, and some specific alterations to your clothing to work properly. More info on your needs might save you a lot of money and some time as well...

I'm assuming that since this was posted in 2004, the guy either got his holdout or the game came and went. Looks like ruijorge unearthed this thread from some time ago.

Just wondering, but what is the difference between the Perfect Holdout by Antonio Romero at hocus-pocus.com for $185 retail($175 member price) and the Perfect Holdout by Antonio Romero for $225 retail at Frank's shop?

Is it just that there is a CD instead of a video for instruction? is there any difference to the holdout itself or the attachments included?

The holdout is the same.
The difference is that one comes with a cd and the other doesn´t.
