I havn't heard much on this video. You can make large objects vanish, or just appear? I have heard it takes practice, but is worth it, and that doesn't bother me. Does the video teach anything else?

It's absolutely brilliant. Get it and learn it. I've wasted money on countless magic dvds and tapes. This one was worth it. In fact it's the best magic purchase I've ever made. Don't expect to be making melons appear. Just use it for small objects like coins. When you get it down you'll fry laypeople and magicians will think you're using trick coins. He teaches several routines using the pitch.

If you ever saw Danny use the move live, you'd RUN to the nearest magic shop to purchase the tape.

Is it anything like Greg Willson's pitch and ditch?

No, it's more like Greg Wilson's is like Danny's (and Greg's technique is inferior).

The technique is beyond me. I wonder how it looks in person ( angles, etc. ).

The pitch and ditch is a completely different move. Greg, however, does do an effect called "Toll Free" which incorporates an extremely weak and extremely telling handling of the Sylvester Pitch.

Platt, thanks for clarifying that it's "Toll Free" where the inferior technique is used. Sorry for the confusion.

Hey...sorry for my ignorance....but I own both the sylvester pitch and toll free...what makes his handling so inferior?

I too have them both and feel it unfortunate that Gregory Wilson used the term "Sylvester Pitch" when describing his move. They are not really the same move. The difference is in the timing. Wilson's is more of a simultaneous juggling type of move, which I find more difficult, than Sylvester's.

What else besides the "Sylvester Pitch" is on the video?

I was wondering, since Sylvester produces eggplants, if you wanted to, could you produce a bannana?

Although just the pitch is taught, after learning this move, you will be able to apply it to your own effects and routines.
