Like most of us here, I really enjoy L&L Publishing products. But my knowledge of the "other guys" is lacking. I'm sure there are great non-L&L products out there. What do you recommend?

If you're into difficult card magics then green magic (3vol) from A-1 is great. Never got to actually sit down and try them out but they look interesting.

I would say Palms of Steel II & III. The production quality is excellent. The routines are great and they are fun to watch.

As an admirer of the late Bro. John Hamman, I think the six dvd's The Lost Works of Bro John Hamman from Houdini is amazing stuff.
Note that these tapes was never ment for public viewing. Richard Kaufman taped them for the sole purpose when he was writing the book about John Hamman's cardmagic.
In my oppinion these dvd's are of suprisingly high quality anyhows. And its almost 12 hours of seeing a master in action.
And, oh yeah, the price $62.00 is a bargain as well.

I have to mention The Legendary Repertoire of Michael Skinner, also from Houdini.
The set consists of two separate videos, and one dvd.
Note that these videos and dvd are including performances only. But the material is stunning.
Around 100 effects performed all together
