It's very different from the usual l&l type dvds we are accustomed to. the production value and scripting are very detailed. I think that in the near future we'll see more of this type of dvds from independent producers.

I've got to admit...I love this DVD. It's one of the funniest things I've ever watched in magic...

The "Punchy" FISM act had me rolling on the floor..."I'm a big magician guy, if you're not good...I'll turn into you Eugene Burger...or worse, Max Maven..."

I laughed my A** off and then went and got my wife, made her watch that part too.

Plust, on top of the humor, the magic is outstanding as well....

My HIGHEST recommendation!!!

I don't agree that magic video producers should copy their style of teaching. This is something that is unique to them, and won't necessarily work for other people. What they SHOULD do is realize that there is more than one way to teach magic. Maybe it will spark some creativity in the industry.

The DVD doesn't say what effect/sleights are taught. Kind of expensive at over $50.00.

It's worth the price. Instead of 3 mediocre DVDs with good effects sprinkled throughout the set, you get one DVD that's loaded with great material.

THIS IS INSANE.

I CANNOT BELIEVE I SPENT ONLY 50 DOLLARS ON THIS.

WAY UNDERPRICED.............

The last time I got so excited over a DVD was Bill Malone, then Asher + Wilson's "hit the road" took it to another level.
After watching "hit the road", I thought there will not be another DVD that can take its place..

Boy was I wrong.
You'll find not one, not merely two, but tons of BRILLIANT effect from this DVD.

their explanations scenes are HALARIOUS.
When Manuel explains his "grandpa's cigar-box". I WAS ROLLING ON THE FLOOR man.
same with Hartling's "back to the future".

A face in the CASE.. oh man.. the way they made jokes on the "masked magician" was just TOO FUNNY to watch.
(that was probably my favorite routine from the DVD )

Helge's Cups and balls routine.. oh man... THAT IS BY FAR the funniest presentation I've seen.

All those infomercials are classics man.
the call for "out faro- in faro", and laymen on sales.....

I can't say enough about this DVD.

BOTTOM LINE.

How practical are the routines?
I saw a short demo of this dvd online, a lot of the items looked pretty difficult to do. Is most of the dvd pretty advanced?

There is a full range of material, from easy to difficult, close-up to stage. You get good routines, its fun to watch, and there are lots of inside magic jokes that only we magicians would get or think funny. What more could you want?

I agree, it was definitely a nice change from the same old teaching routines.
