I have around a hundred tapes and I'm a bit concerned with their longevity.
Has anyone taken the time to drop their tapes to DVD?
Any particular method met with better success than another?

Thanks,
Paul

I dabble in a little video editing. I have not dumped my tapes to dvd yet as I don't own a DVD recorder.

Your best bet is probably this

I particularly do everything over the computer which would require a capture card and a dvd+/-rw. You have more control but its more hassle and way more expensive. Hope that helps you.
