Hi guys,
I have vision's of wonder volume 3 and absolutely loved it, his theories and tricks were genious. So, I am guessing that the first two dvds are just as good. no?

I have heard a lot about Sleight of Dave, and that the tricks and theories... were very commercial. Is this true?

I am hoping to get some effects from these two serries and hoping to put them into repetoir for shows and table hopping. Are these dvds good for what I am wanting?

Don't worry about the skill level.

Thank you !

I would highly recommend getting Volumes 1 and 2 of the Visions of Wonder. they are very entertaining and informative.

I don't have Sleight of Dave, so I can't commment on it. hopefully someone else will help you out on this one.

Oh yeah for me, the opener in volume 1.... The Ring, the Watch, and the Wallet sets the tone nicely for what's to come with his style of magic. quite funny and surprising.

The David Wiliamson DVDs are really GREAT!! I am sure you will love them. But consider that David has another style of performance than Tommy. David is more the funny guy. And you will be able to use all of his routines. I am telling this because Tommy is using selfmade props and they are pretty hard to rebuild, so you might not use most of the stuff from Tommy. But Tommy´s theory is great.

Both of these sets are in my top ten. Tommy's set is unbelievable. David Williamson is the man. He's hillarious and you will learn a ****load from him.

Okami is right. Tommy's set isn't just tricks that you would do anytime. Dave's dvds have moves that require's use of common gimmicks (thumbtip) or no gimmicks at all (deck of cards, coins).

Get them both! I would hate to choose!
