All,

there is an other post going on about 'What's wrong with Sankey' Personaly I don't say that there is anything wrong with the guy. But that is for the other thread.

I was wondering what you people think, is the best Sankey DVD. (So let's not discuss what is his worst).

Maybe a top 3 would be nice.

I really enjoyed his Revolutionary Coin Magic

His flying shutter pass really makes the original shuttel pass to be more convincing.

Hmmm, didn't really like his card stuff though (and I have bought quite a few of his stuff like Very best of jay sankey, 22 blows, rev card magic, sankey sanders sessions, etc). But if I really have to choose another, I would say rev card magic as it has quite a complete utilization of stuff that was originally in his first few dvds, not to mention some add ons and variations.

but that's jus me

cheerios

I have Rev. Coin Magic and the material is great and some of them are very difficult. I'd have to say the best Jay's dvds for me are the Secret Files Set. And following them is my all them fav. 22 Blow To The Head. Sorry, I just can't stop at one.

The only Sankey DVD I own is Revolutionary Card Magic. It is good, quite good, but not great. I haven't bothered looking into his other work.

Even with all the bad feelings about Sankey on these forums, he is still my favorite magician for the stuff he's created in his career. I'm not going to try to say that I love everything he's released, but I perform more of his effects than I do of anyone else's. As for the list, my top three would be...

The Very Best Of Jay Sankey Vol. 3
The Very Best Of Jay Sankey Vol. 1
Secret Files Vol. 1

He's put out such great material over the years. Even if you don't like his current efforts, you can't deny his impact on the magic community. He's a genius.

I've only seen a few of his DVDs, but I like The Very Best of Jay Sankey 3 volume set.

My favorites (of the 22 I own) are the Best of Sankey series, Paperclipped, and the two "Collector's Edition" DVDs he put out a while back.

Hi guys,

I have several of Sankey's DVDs and tricks
I would say that Rev. Coin Magic is the best so far.
Some of the content are a bit hard for me as I'm just fairly new

I also have a LOT of his stuff...gotta say though, ranking at the top are Secret Files and Three-Ring Circus, not only for the rings, but extra material on the DVD...

How much if any of '45', 'sankey-tized', and 'Revolutionary Coin Magic' are repeated in the 'Best Of' series, please?

FrontRow should put in front of the 22 blows and 3 ring circus , I can say you cannot fool any layman with many effects in 22 blows , Sankey put many chessy tricks to fullfill this DVD.
