I received this tape from L&L last week. L&L is having a blowout sale on some of their VHS tapes, this tape (volume 1) was only ten bucks! Getting to see Alex Elmsley perform, teach, and give a few anecdotes about his life in magic was terrific. I have always enjoyed British humor and the dry wit exhibited by Mr. Elmsley is great.....the effect "One Poor Lion" themed on Christians being fed to the lions had me laughing out loud. He also teaches dazzle.....a packet trick where the backs change color so many times it makes your head spin!

Mr. Elmsley is not only a big name in magic but a gentleman with a relaxed style that I enjoyed. I would have been happy with this tape at triple the price. If you are interested check it out before they are gone. (sheesh I sound like an ad.....no affiliation, etc.)

So that's where the last Elmsley vol 1 went.
I had ordered it and by the time they processed, they sold out.
