I love Daryl, but his Revelations series is dull as can be. I never even made it all the way through volume 1.

Its not the most boring, but only for certain redeeming
qualities but, Sylvester Pitch 98 could have been a
disaster!

Ok, ok you have Sylvester the Jester doing his crazy
routines at the beginning which is GREAT! Then he goes
dead pan for the instruction... DEAD PAN. The redeeming
qualities are that the information he gives about
how vision works etc and just watching how good he is
makes it not boring. If he were teaching card tricks
though... I would have fallen asleep.

Tudor's 'Generation X' is, hands down, the most disgustingly boring video ever made.

And that includes Gigli!

Gary Ouellet's recent series ZZZZzzzzzzz helped me catch up on my sleep... (sorry, Gary R.I.P.). These videos took 'boring' to new heights that I thought were'nt possible.

Hey MariusHaugan, I agree with you! I also cant believe some people find Ammar and especially Daryl boring!
Daryl, for me, is soo entertaining. Hes one of my all time favorites. His subtle humour is really funny!
Ammar has another style, but I find him funny too. Not that his jokes make me fall off my chair , but he is far from being boring.

The absolute most boring video I have is Coinjuror by David Neighbors, talk about putting someone to sleep.The guy is great with coins, but what a personality.....I could not finish watching it..

My vote goes for Ray Grismer, good stuff but it is like watching grass grow -- no, worse!

Ray and Jerry are both outstanding magicians--true living legends. They are both getting up there in age, too. I don't know too many men in their 80's who are "exciting."

One of the problems with video is that it is a relatively new medium. People like Al Goshman and Larry Jennings were literally dying when their videos were shot. People like Ray Grismer and Jerry Andrus and Dai Vernon and Sol Stone and Herb Zarrow, had they been taped 20 to 50 years earlier, would have blown you away! Skinner is another example. He was dying and heavily medicated when his videos were shot, a shell of his former self. In his heyday, he was one of the finest performers the world has ever known. To judge these men as "boring" on their videos without taking this into account is, to me, a travesty.
