Man, I was really hoping Dorian would be wearing his cool Manga looking Trench coat. In any case, giggling little Asian girls are always a winner.
Nice hands...
One time, when I was young, I botched a sleight so bad, Vernon, Marlo & Miller rolled over in their graves. But I didn't see Elmsley, probably because he was behind the others.

Is there anything more than the effects on the DVD? Sleights, etc.?

On the DVD it is just the effects but I believe the format was designed so you can learn the key sleights used in the effects independently.

I saw all of the material on the DVD live when Dorian did a lecture at our magic shop here in Santa Rosa. It was insane. Dorian is not only a great magician but an excellent teacher, so everyone should be able to learn from this DVD.
A while ago I posted a review for the Buck produced Simply Sidney. You can look up that DVD at the Dan and Dave website. If you go to the bottom of the page and click on reviews you can see the extensive review I wrote there. I will be writing a similar review by Friday the 9th on Dorian's material. The DVD is broken up into two sections: 1. Effects 2. Sleights.
It is recommended you watch the Sleights section first as Dorian simply references them when teaching the effects. I hope that was clear Steve. |
