So you want to control your music years ago I used Kerry polic system.
The Showtek, then for a few years used iNAV
This might sound strange but I’m now using a steering wheel remote only cost 25 bucks.
The remote is the size of a Silverdollar and you’re able to control your music within 40 feet of your phone.
Just thought I’d throw that out there if you’re looking to control your music inexpensively give it a try.

It’s called the media button Bluetooth button series.
Quite vag I know.
