Does somebody knows wich music DC uses when he appears on the plate-forme in the portal show ? Not the intro music, the one at the end when he takes the applause.

Except, you may not use the music without permission,
as it is under copyright.
David paid to use a cut of that music, and all his commercial music,
unless the venue you perform at has a blanket license for music,
you must obtain permission and probably pay royalties to use this (or other) music.

Actually, a venue having a "blanket license" doesn't make a bit of difference to your personal or business obligations to obtain rights to any music you're using in your act.

Venues with their own licenses are licensing for the VENUES own use of music for incidental (background, foreground, etc) purposes, or for cover bands playing tunes within the venue that are not of their (the cover bands) own writing. The venue can also license itself for the playing of commercial music as a main feature of the venue...like a nightclub with a dance floor.

Individual commercial acts using published music for THEIR own purposes must deal with the specified rights holder as assigned by the original artist or writer for each and every piece of music they use in their act. The venues license entitles the magician using commercially published music to NOTHING!

There's a sticky at the top of this very forum with some great information on the use of published music in your commercial undertakings.

It's a good start to accept that if it's on the radio, or from a movie, you're not going to be able to use it without contacting BMI, ASCAP, BMR or SOCAN, which covers the United States, Canada, and England.
