For those that do not know the toxic force. It is a way to use a borrowed Iphone's native calculator app to force a big/long number. So, for those that already know TOXIC, What else is new? Shawn shows you a way to get into the setup on someone elses phone. And it's impromptu! Shawn also has a nice little addition to the classic toxic force, which solves a tiny problem with the method. I did not know this prior to watching the tutorial. It's $5 bucks. If you already know the method, might not be worth getting. However, if you do not, this is a must have!

Thanks for the review. Yes this was just recently released with SuperHumanz. I have however been teaching it for years in my lecture. It is super close to the effect credited to Bob King, but I think the addition of how to do the set up directly in front of the volunteer and the removal of the pesky little black line that highlights the fact that there is something going on already are golden. I think you feel the same way by the clever wording you used in your review. Yes, if people can do TOXIC there might be less value in the few things I add, but then for $5 it might also be worth adding. Thanks again for the review... -shawn |

The rotation problem happens on my Iphone 7. The problem occurs if the calculator is open before it becomes locked. For instance, if the spectator had been using the calculator and didn't close it before putting it in his pocket.
If that is the case then the once the phone is unlocked the rotate function won't work. It's a glitch. Fortunately it's something you will run into more when practicing than in performance (because when practicing you open the calculator and don't know you have to close it between attempts). I only know this happens in both the Iphone 7 Plus and regular Iphone 7. A couple of people I messaged about this didn't have this issue on their earlier phones. Shawn being one of them. Shawn offered a workaround should this happen. You just perform TOXIC without the TOXICO improvements. |

This appears to be an iPhone 7 issue I captainly can't recreate what you describe in the 6 plus or 5s. The 6plus is running iOS 10.33

Almost a year later. I have a new Iphone (Iphone 8 Plus) but I have the same issue. If I open open the calculator while the phone is locked it will not rotate.
This seems like a big problem with Toxico if you borrow a phone and the Scientific calculator will not appear when you rotate the phone/ Any one else having this issue? |

I have been playing around with TOXICO on the iPhone 8 plus. I have the same issue that Magic Mike mentioned, but have found a way to work around it. I don't know why what I have been doing works, and I have only been able to practice it on my phone, but it seems to work every time. I don't know if it will be a permanent fix, or will work for everyone, but it's worth a try. If you pm me with enough info so I know you purchased the effect, I will share what I have discovered.
