I need a ruffled front tuxedo shirt. It has to be white but not like a pansy one with just pleats. I want something like seem on Lance Burton or Auston Powers. lol. I need HUGE ruffles.

I have been looking for a year and finally asked my seamstress how much it would cost. The bill came out over 300$ Smile so I have resorted to this.

HELP!!!!

Check out the Internationalmale.com they have some very cool things and yes some "pansy ones" but it's worth the check out.

Contact a costume store. Tell them you want to buy a 'Jabot' This is similar to the Ben Franklin and George Washington cloth around the neck and the piece hanging down the front.

There are many types. Check their catalog. They should be able to order from several styles for you.

Failing this, if you do not want to go to a store. You will have to make one yourself. It is not really that difficult as you are only wrapping a cloth around your neck like an 'ascot'. Just go to a fabric shop and look at their shirt and blouse material.

Specifically, on ebay check out the seller glotux. Lots of great stuff at reasonable prices. I have bought from them before with great results. I would recommend them.

I hope it doesn't look like Seinfeld's "Poofy shirt". Smile
Actually you might consider taking a picture in it and using it as your Avatar. Just a thought.

I still have my red and black one with rhinestones inside each ruffle. It was "cool" in the eighties. Can't really get myself to try it on again.

Yeah. You should see the rhinestone tux that went with it.
