Or the exact wording? It's something like: "The unusual happens all the time; the impossible only slightly less frequently..." That's not quite it, but close. Has anyone heard that one before? Thanks!

"While much is too strange to be believed, nothing is too strange to have happened."
- Thomas Hardy
"Is there any point to which you would wish to draw my attention?"
"To the curious incident of the dog in the night-time."
"The dog did nothing in the night-time."
"That was the curious incident," remarked Sherlock Holmes.

Or should it be, 'The impossible we can do - miracles take a little longer'. But probably neither are what you are looking for - sorry!

Billie Holiday had as one of her signature songs in the 1940s a song called Crazy He Calls Me. The lyrics include "The difficult I'll do right now. The impossible will take a little while."

The one I knew

Quote by - Russian Proverb) The obscure we see eventually. The completely obvious, it seems, takes longer. (Quote by - Edward R. Murrow)

not quite the same, but for magicians ...
"the more one pretends at magic, the more awe and wonder will be found in real life." Arnold Furst

One of my favorites:

"It is only with the heart that we truly see,
for that which is essential,
is invisible to the eye."

(A translation from The Little Prince)

To see a difficult thing lightly handled gives the impression of the impossible.
